Aloo Mutter

This is the most easiest and fast side dish for chapathi/naan/ghee rice. 

 Ingredients:

4 Potatoes
1/2 Cup Peas (I used frozen peas)
1/4 Cup Onion chopped
4 Green chillies (slitted)
1 tsp Cumin seeds
3 tsp Red chilli powder
1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
2 tsp Salt
1/4 Cup Curd
4 Coconut flakes



Preparation:

Pressure cook the potatoes with salt upto 2 whistles.Then peel the skin and cut into medium pieces.


In a nonstick pan,add 2 tsp of oil and fry cumin seeds and green chillies.Then add chopped onions ,salt ,turmeric powder and fry for 2 mins.
                                                  
Then add the peas,stir a few secs and potato pieces ,red chilli powder and cook covered.(less than 2 mins)
                                    
Meanwhile grind the coconut and extract the milk alone.And beat the yogurt/curd in mixie and keep it ready.


First add the coconut milk and leave it in medium flame for 1 min.
 When the aloo & peas are coated well with the coconut curry ,add the beated curd and switch off the stove.Leave the pan in that heat.

                                  Serve it with fresh cilantro leaves on top with Ghee rice /Naan/Tortillas.
