Potato chops

Potato Chops:


Ingredients:

  •  3 Potatoes
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 7 Garlic crushed
  • 2tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Sambar powder
  • 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  • 2 tsp of Oil

Preparation:

 Pressure cook the potatoes with 1 tsp of salt upto 2 whistles. Peel the skin and cut into cubes.
In a fry pan add oil and fry the crushed garlic nicely and then add the chopped tomatoes, salt and cook covered , until the tomatoes are mashed.


Then add the sambar powder, red chilli powder fry for a while and add the cubed potatoes and cook covered for 5 mins in medium flame.

Then take off the lid and fry in medium high (5 mins) , till the masalas are well coated on the potatoes  and switch off the stove.

Serve it with Sambar sadam / Curd rice/Chapathis.
